What information is needed to select equipment?
Packaging type and dimensions, label artwork and size, required line speed, and a photo or layout of the production area. If some details are not yet available, describe the current process and the outcome you need.
What is the difference between an applicator and a printer-applicator?
An applicator applies a pre-printed label. A printer-applicator prints variable data first and then applies the label to the packaging. The choice depends on whether the information changes from item to item.
Can existing conveyor equipment be used?
That depends on product dimensions, how steadily it moves, and the available installation space. A line layout, transport height and packaging details help assess the fit.
What affects cost and lead time?
